THIS 'TROPICAL PINA COLADA' SMOOTHIE IS A SMOOTH OPERATOR....it will leave you feeling energized, frefeshed and ready for your day! If you have never tasted a GREEN SMOOTHIE before, then this little beauty will surprise you.
INGREDIENTS:
1 CUP PINEAPPLE - FRESH OR FROZEN
1 CUP MANGO - FRESH OR FROZEN
*1 MEDIUM BANANA
1 CUP STRAWBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES, RASPBERRIES OR FROZEN BAG OF MIXED FRUITS
1 MILK - COCONUT, ALMOND OR UNSWEETEN SOYA
1 -2 CUPS OF SPINACH FRESH OR FROZEN
1 TEASPOON OF VANILLA EXTRACT
1 TEASPOON HONEY TO TASTE - OR SUGAR, MAPLE SYRUP
*the banana is best sliced and frozen before use , this makes the smoothie creamy...mmmm
Blend all the ingrediants together and serve - if using fresh fruits add some ice cubes after blending to cool it down, becareful of adding too much as it waters down the smoothie.
To make it a little extra special, you could add a teaspoon of coconut liquear - or add to your taste
Sprinkle some coconut flakes, cherry and cocktail unberella to the top for decoration. Looks good at a BBQ,,,
