The crypto crash foiled my plans
On my last update the crypto market started to correct. Problem is, that the correction is now more like a flash crash. I described its impact on my plans to buy up to 500 chaos leagion packs yesterday in detail in this post: Crypto Crash! - Can I still afford buying chaos legion packs as planned? - My bumpy road to Financial Freedom .
A few parts for you, if you do not want to read the whole article (I slightly adapted it, because it contained a mistake on the packs to open):
My new plan is to buy at least 250 packs + the 25 free bonus packs. I will open up to 220 of these packs and to keep the rest for later. I already have the vouchers for the bonus packs So I need
1.000 $ for the packs and around 99 $ for the potions to open up to 220 packs. All in all 1.099 $.
From the 2.000 € I have 285.68 € left, which I can still invest. On the current exchange rate EUR/USD this is around 325 $. In this post I described a way to get this money into the game quite cheaply. So I calculate with around 320 $ of available funds. In addition I have 20 $ in Credits already in the game.
So I need to sell tokens worth round about 750 $ to buy and open the packs as planned.
I do not know how the worth of the tokens will change over the next 10 days, until the General Sale starts. To reduce the risk of further loss, I will buy everyday 75.000 Credits using my DEC or Swap.Hive. This will reduce the SPS Airdrop Capacity, but increases my chance to be able to buy the packs at the start of the General Sale.
On the 16th I am going to buy SWAP.Hive from my EUR and directly exchange them into credits. So on the 16th I should have my 1.090.000 Credits, to directly start buying at the opening of the General Sale.
If the price of the tokens will rise during the next week it may be, that I buy some more packs. If it stays that low, I will keep some more DEC as planned and get more SPS during the Airdrops.
Earning Hive with Articles - Big thanks to the 
I always wanted to start my own blog, but could not motivate myself. In the Hive network this is somehow different. There are many active users and always challenges, which motivate me to write more. The Splinterlands "Share your Battle" challenge I mentioned already in my last post.
What motivated me last week, was the Power Up Month Challenge from @Hivebuzz. To get the badge and a price at the end of the challenge every day you need to power up at least one HP, or write a blog post and set it to 100 % HP as reward.
Sadly I missed to change the reward structure for my post on the 7th of January. So now I am already out of the challenge. To write everyday a blog post is a very big challenge for a full time working father of two kids. Especially since I try to write good content for you. Maybe I try again in Febuary.
My last update from the 5th of January came to the attention of 
Summarized its a group of gamers, which a cracy about blockchain based games and try to support the environment via several ways. The have created their own token CARTEL, which can be bought for 10 $. The money has been invested in several cryptogames. The income from these investments are again invested and after 3-6 month there shall be a dividend paid to the CARTEL holders. Because of the investment in several cryptogames, the Oneup-Cartel can be seen as a kind of ETF on cryptogames. There will be a maximum of 75.000 CARTEL floating. CARTEL could be a good investment for all people who do not want to keep an oversight over the complete market of cryptogames or do not have the capital to spread it over several games, but would like to diversify their portfolio. I plan to buy at least a few tokens in the next days.
In addition the cartel has several accounts, which honour good blogging on hive communities with upvotes. The most known should be 
*I am very proud and thankful that I already got two upvotes from the Oneup-Cartel for my blog posts. From monster-curator alone I got upvotes for 10.000 SPTs. From these - 5.000 SPTs will arive in my wallet in the next days. *
Every SPT brings 0,25 Airdrop points for the SPS airdrop of Splinterlands. So I will get around 1.250 Airdrop points, creating 0,13 SPS per day. In addition I can stake the SPTs and upvote good blog posts myself to help other bloggers and earn some more SPTs myself.
But since my Hive Power and with this my Ressource Credits are very limited, I cannot post these articles and upvote other bloggers at the same time. But there is another possibility to use my SPTs. I can stake them and delegate them to another curator. This curator can then use my delegated SPTs for his upvotes and to create even more SPT which will be given back to the SPT owner on a daily basis. I am able to generate passive income this way.
I am going to delegate my SPTs to the monster-curator. I will profit from this in three ways:
- On a daily basis I will get back around 95 % of the SPTs the monster-curator will generate with my SPTs.
- Via my CARTEL token I will participate on the profit the monster-curator generates and "keeps for himself".
- I keep my Airdrop points, because these stay with the owner of the SPTs and not the delegee.
I am looking forward to a good further relationship with the Oneup-Cartel. 😀

The Cryptocrash continued until today. This had a big impact on my portfolio. I have nearly 15 % more SPS than 4 days ago, but the worth of these SPS is nearly the same. Even more the detoriation of the DEC price hit me. I do not want to write everything again, but the timing of my investment on January 1st was not the best.
Never the less I won't start crying now. I have a plan how to take care of my portfolio in the coming days and I am looking positive in into the mid term future. With blogging I opened another cash stream, and the positive feedback keeps me going. The same belongs to my guild, which, even after 3 losses in our todays brawl, cheered my up again. Der Kryptocrash vereitelt meine Pläne
Zum Zeitpunkt meines letzten Updates hat der Kryptomarkt gerade angefangen zu korrigieren. Das Problem ist, dass diese Korrektur inzwischen eher ein kleiner "Flash Crash" ist. Ein Ende ist derzeit nicht abzusehen. In diesem Beitrag beschrieb ich gestern die Auswirkungen des Crashs auf meine Pläne die bis zu 500 Boosterpacks Chaos Legion zu kaufen: Crypto Crash! - Can I still afford buying chaos legion packs as planned? - My bumpy road to Financial Freedom .
Der Artikel ist in englisch. Ich übersetze einige Auszüge daraus, falls Ihr nicht den ganzen Artikel lesen wollt (ich habe kleine Anpassungen gemacht, da sich ein Fehler bei den zu öffnenden Boosterpacks eingeschlichen hatte):
Mein neuer Plan ist es, mindestens 250 packs zu kaufen - zuzüglich der 25 Gratispacks. Ich plane maximal 220 davon zu öffnen und den Rest für später aufzubewahren. Die Voucher habe ich bereits gekauft. Daher brauche ich noch 1.000 $ für die Boosterpacks und 99 $ für die zugehörigen Potions, insgesamt als 1.099 $.
Von den 2.000 €, die ich bereit bin zu investieren, habe ich noch 285,68 € in FIAT verfügbar. Beim derzeitigen Wechselkurs EUR / USD sind das knapp 325 $. In diesem Link habe ich beschrieben, wie man günstig Geld in Spiel bekommt. Daher gehe ich davon aus, dass ich mit mindestens 320 $ rechnen kann. Zusätzlich habe ich noch 20 $ in Credits bereits im Spiel.
Ich brauche also noch insgesamt ca. 750 $ um die Boosterpacks zu kaufen und zu öffnen.
Ich weiß nicht, wie sich der Wert von DEC und Hive über die nächsten Tage entwickeln wird, bis der General Sale beginnt. Um mein Risiko zu reduzieren, werde ich jeden Tag DEC und Swap.Hive im Wert von 75.000 Credits (75 $) in Credits wandeln. Das wird zwar die Anzahl an SPS reduzieren, die ich per AirDrop erhalte, aber es erhöht meine Chance das ich auch tatsächlich die Packs kaufen kann, wenn der Kurs weiter nachgibt.
Am 16.01. werde ich dann meine EUR in Swap.Hive wandeln, so dass ich rechtzeitig zum General Sale die notwendigen 1.099.000 Credits zur Verfügung habe.
Wen der Kurs sich erholt, werde ich auch mehr als die 250 packs kaufen. Ansonsten halte ich lieber ein paar DEC mehr als geplant im Portfolio und kassiere weitere SPS durch die AirDrops.
Hive Tokens mit Blogbeiträgen verdienen - Ein großes Dankeschön an das
Ich habe immer vorgehabt zu bloggen, war aber oftmals zu faul zum Schreiben. Im Hive Netzwerk ist dies irgendwie anders. Es gibt sehr aktive User und ständig Challenges, die einen motivieren einen weiteren Post zu verfassen. Über die Splinterlandschallenge "Share your battle" habe ich bereits beim letzten mal geschrieben.
Was mich diese Woche angetrieben hat jeden Tag etwas zu bloggen, war die Power Up Month Challenge von @Hivebuzz. Um die Auszeichnung und einen Preis am Ende der Challenge zu erhalten muss man jeden Tag entweder einen Hive Power Up über mindestens 1 HP durchführen, oder einen Blogbeitrag verfassen, dessen Curation Rewards zu 100% in Hive Power gehen.
Leider habe ich bei meinem Beitrag vom 07.01. vergessen auf 100% HP umzustellen, so dass ich nun aus der Challenge raus bin. Jeden Tag einen Beitrag zu erstellen, ist aber auch für einen in Vollzeit arbeitenden Familienvater eine ziemliche Herausforderung. Zumal ich versuche nicht einfach irgendwas zu bloggen. Vielleicht versuche ich es im Februar noch einmal.
Mein letztes Update vom 05.01. ist
Zusammengefasst ist es eine Gruppe von Spielern, die verrückt nach Blockchain basierten Spielen sind und diese auf verschiedene Arten fördern. Sie haben CARTEL, einen eigenen Token, erstellt, den man kaufen kann. Die eingenommenen Ressourcen werden in diverse Blogchainspiele investiert. Die Einnahmen werden in weitere Assets investiert, und nach 3-6 Monaten soll es auch eine Art Dividende an die CARTEL Inhaber geben. Durch seine Investitionen in mehrere Kryptogames kann man das Oneup-cartel auch als eine Art ETF auf Kryptogames betrachten. Ein CARTEL kann für 10 $ gekauft werden. Insgesamt werden maximal 75.000 CARTEL ausgegeben werden. Das könnte ein gutes Investment für all diejenigen sein, die den Markt für Kryptogames nicht komplett überblicken wollen, oder nicht das Kapital haben in mehrere Spiele zu investieren. Ic hhabe vor in den kommenden Tagen den ein oder andere CARTEL token zu kaufen.
Darüber hinaus gehören zum Cartel diverse Accounts, die gute Beiträge auf Hive upvoten und mit Token austatten. Der bekannteste dürfte
Ich bin sehr stolz darauf und dankbar, dass nun bereits zwei meiner Beiträge vom Cartel für würdig erachtet wurden. Allein von monster-curator habe ich Upvotes für 10.000 SPTs erhalten. Damit kommen im Laufe der nächsten Tage 5.000 SPTs bei mir im Wallet an.
Jeder SPT bringt 0,25 AirDrop Points beim täglichen SPS AirDrop. Also knapp 1.250 Punkte, oder 0,13 SPS pro Tag. Zusätzlich kann ich die SPTs staken und dann selbst gute Beiträge kuratieren und damit wieder SPTs erhalten.
Da meine Hive Power und damit meine Ressource Credits limitiert sind, kann ich jedoch nicht Beiträge wie diesen schreiben und regelmäßig für Beiträge anderer Blogger voten. Es gibt aber noch eine andere Methode diese SPTs einzusetzen. Ich kann Sie staken und dann einem Kurator delegieren. Dieser nutzt dann meine gestakten SPTs bei seinen Upvotes erzielt damit mehr SPTs und gibt einen Großteil dieses zusätzlichen Gewinns täglich an den Besitzer der SPTs zurück. Ich generiere passives Einkommen auf diese Weise.
Ich werde meine SPTs an den monster-curator delegieren, und so auf drei Arten profitieren.
- Ich erhalte 95 % der SPTs, die der monster-curator mit meinen SPTs generiert täglich ausgezahlt
- Über meine CARTEL Token profitiere ich am Profit, den der monster-curator erzielt und "für sich" behält.
- Erhalte ich weiterhin die Punkt für den SPS Airdrop. Diese gehen nicht auf den Kurator über.
Ich freue mich auf die weitere Zusammenarbeit mit dem Oneup-Cartel. 😀

Der Preisverfall der Hive und Splinterlandstokens ging leider bis heute weiter. Dies hatte auch einen großen Einfluss auf mein Portfolio. Ich habe fast 15 % mehr SPS in meinem Portfolio, aber der Wert ist nahezu gleich geblieben. Noch übler trifft mich der Verfall von DEC. Ich will jetzt nicht noch einmal alles wiederholen, was ich bereits oben geschrieben habe, aber der Investitionszeitpunkt am 01.01. war nicht unbedingt ideal.
Davon lasse ich mich aber nicht unterkriegen. Ich habe nun einen Plan wie ich mit dem Verfall der Tokens umgehe und blicke positiv in die Zukunft. Mit dem bloggen habe ich eine weitere Einnahmequelle aufgetan und das positive Feedback, dass ich hier erhalte motiviert mich weiter zu machen. Das gleiche gilt für meine Gilde, die mich nach meinen 3 Niederlagen im heutigen Brawl wieder aufgebaut hat. Danke Jungs. 😘
