~~Español~~ La gran mayoría de los fumadores, la primera vez que encendió un cigarrillo e inhalo su humo, tocio muchísimo, ¿cierto? Esto sucede porque el mecanismo de defensa pulmonares estaban intactos, y no van a permitir que un humo con más de 40 sustancias tóxicas entren hasta lo más profundo del pulmón, por eso reaccionan con la tos para expulsarlo, pero a medida que lo repiten esta protección se va perdiendo. Cuando el humo transita en las vías respiratorias se encuentra con el Sistema Mucocilial como una barrera de moco con bordes de cilios que hacen la función de cepillos que barre el moco y las sustancias tóxicas hacia afuera ¿qué pasa mientras fuman? se destruye los bordes del cepillo hasta disminuir su eficiencia. Todo el daño que ocasiona el humo del cigarrillo genera mucha inflamación y el cuerpo trata de compensar produciendo más moco, pero resulta que termina acumulándose porque no hay suficientes cilios para barrerlos y así como daña los cilios, también destruye terminales nerviosas del olfato, lo que quiere decir que tiene el camino libre para seguir destruyendo mientras avanza los alvéolos pulmonares, zona donde se da el intercambio gaseoso con el oxígeno, y el monóxido de carbono que se encuentra en el humo, donde comienza a desplazar al oxígeno del glóbulo rojo siendo este el medio de transporte, es por ello que los fumadores se cansan fácilmente porque no tienen circulación de oxígeno. Ahora bien, una vez en sangre el cuerpo es afectado por más de 40 toxinas que ya les comente, que son transportadas en el humo del tabaco o cigarrillo, afectando todos los órganos y tejidos lesionando la pared interna de las arterias, lo que ocasiona que el colesterol actúe a reparar el daño y se oxide, se acumule y forme placas que terminan aumentando el flujo sanguíneo causando infarto, y no solo eso también ataca las plaquetas haciendo que se rompan formando coágulos hasta causar émbolos. Es verdad que todos vamos a morir, pero provocar de manera consciente esa manera de morir, causando el colapso de todos los órganos del cuerpo ¿cuántas personas conocen que después de la comida, se fuman un cigarrillo acompañado con café para ayudar a la digestión? y así pasan el día hasta sumar una caja y más. El cuerpo es una máquina sabia con órganos nobles que soportan mala alimentación y hábitos tóxicos, pero llega un momento que explota, y las células buenas se convierten en células malas y se esparcen por todas partes hasta ocasionar metástasis, y de esta manera terminan los fumadores, que triste ¿cierto?
