This easy bbq chicken recipe is so easy. It doesn’t have a lot of ingredients and it tastes incredible.
It has delicious barbecue flavour, spices and crispy skin. This recipe will make the crispiest, most perfectly glazed, sweet, sticky, and tender barbecue baked chicken you will ever have.
Ingredients
8-10 chicken thighs and/or drumsticks (bone-in, skin on)
1-2 cups of your favourite barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 tbsp of Paprika
1 tbsp of chicken seasoning
2 tbsp of olive oil
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
2-3 cloves of garlic minced
Directions
Step 1 : In a large bowl, add your chicken, then add olive oil, all the spices. Feel free to add anything else you like. Add crushed garlic and mix everything together really well with your hands.
Step 2 : Bake your chicken at 200 C / 400 F for 25 min in the oven.
Step 3 : Remove chicken from oven and turn the temperature of the oven up to 220 C / 425 F.
Step 4 : Coat the top of the chicken with barbecue sauce using a basting brush. Use a spatula to flip the chicken over, being careful not to tear the skin. Baste the other side of the chicken, and place back in the oven for 7 minutes.
Step 5 : Remove from oven, turn them around, baste top with barbecue sauce, and place back in oven for 14 more minutes or until chicken is crispy, parts are blackened, and it's fully cooked.
Step 6 : Enjoy with salad, rice or potatoes.
