Well the last one of the Ghoulish Graveyard Donuts from Krispy Kreme. Of course it had to be Spooky Sprinkles. They have them every year and every celebratory date.

I knew this donut was going to be in the box. When I saw the bright orange icing, I was really hoping it was going to be orange flavoured. When I bit into it, I was wrong. Whyyyy??? Krispy Kreme, I think this would have been a perfect opportunity to create an orange iced donut with chocolate 100's and 1000's. Although there wasn't really any flavour to this donut apart from the sweet glaze. The sprinkles didn't really add much flavour. I think they were there purely for a bit of texture and look. The donut itself was really fluffy just like the other ones, so I can't complain about that.
This was a nice, sweet donut. It would have been far better if it did have a flavour to it. Not necessarily orange as I suggested, but just something. One year Krispy Kreme did a purple monster and it had the most delicious berry jam in the middle. They never did bring that flavour out since. I think that would have been a good idea. If not the Pumpkin Spiced. I would have been over the moon if they brought that back. It's time Krispy Kreme had a long hard look at what they produce. Considering of the big event of Halloween, they could have produced some big, new flavours.
