We had fun seeing the different seasons each of you were in and having those represented by the presentations you all shared.
We had 12 participants for this contest and a few of you were so close together in the running.
As with all NeedleWorkMonday Challenges we based our judging on certain criteria to help us narrow down the final winners, among which, but not limited to, the final presentation, techniques and materials used, story/inspiration behind the project, originality, creativity plus level of complexity/difficulty.
With that, we present to you our NeedleWork Your Season Contest Winners and our Featured Posts #198!

[ENG - ESP] Embroidery Fruit - Fruta Bordada (Contest Needle Work Your Season)
The story and inspiration behind why chose to embroider this papaya fruit and the originality of her idea is what landed her a spot in the top five. We loved the bright colored gradient thread she used as well as the techniques used to make the seeds. Her overall presentation was vibrant and beautiful and she represented well what surrounds her in the current season she’s in.

[ENG-SPA] The Christmas Flower🌺//La Flor🌺 de Navidad
The techniques used, originality and the complexity of ’s project are the main factors that placed her here. The time and care she took to mold and cut each petal and sew on the sequins was very impressive. Her overall final presentation was beautiful and the shine in those flowers just added a whole new level of glam.

Needleworkyourseason|| Un sueter para abrigar a Paulette que pronto nacerà. 👶🙏🎄 A sweater for Paulette who will be born soon.
The overall presentation and inspiration behind ’s entry had a big influence on why she received this position in the contest. She always presents her projects lovely. As a bonus we got to be a part of the baby shower by seeing fun photos from the event. We loved how she went in detail about the special occasion and being excited about presenting her precious handmade gift.

Community contest Needle work your season // Hooded sweater [ENG_ESP]
The final presentation, techniques and materials used in ’s entry were the main components of our decision to place her in second. This hoodie was an original idea she had in mind for her son and was designed very well. The neatness and overall look of the project definitely deserves to be recognized. This was a very impressive entry and it was a joy to hear how much her son adores his new hooded sweater.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1st Place ⭐️⭐️⭐️

[Esp-Eng] Needleworkyourseason: Rescuing my true Christmas spirit. Knitted nativity scene.
Within all of our judging criteria placed the highest. Her final presentation along with her inspiration story and creativity put her in first place of this competition. We love that she always adds in her own background decor which helps highlight her work. She didn’t give us any less this time around as she draws us in to the setting of her display. The amigurumi characters were neatly accomplished and every detail was clearly seen. You can see through her work the care and love she put into her entry.
