Analysis --> 6th full season in Splinterlands

Another Splinterlands season has come to an end and what better place to start this short write-up than what the Praetorian Santa brought us naughty kids for Easter.😁
Last season I got just 1 rare card in the EOS rewards chests, this trend has continued this time as well. I can't say I am ecstatic about what I got but hey 0.02 dollar cards today are gonna be 2 dollars tomorrow, right? 😎

I am pleased with my match stats this season. I'm getting closer and closer to the 2.00 ration (Win/Loss), granted I am only playing in Silver II, however, I do not yet have any level 4 summoners, so I expect to substantially increase my Win/Loss ratio as my deck gets maxed out for Silver. My overall account Win/Loss ratio is over 55% now which might not seem much but I was actually around 40-45% while beating my head against the Bronze Bot Gods before I figured out how to get out of there. Bronze is substantially harder to have a decent win rate in, especially when you barely have any cards of your own in the beginning, and you are still learning what the game is about.

Tournaments, tournaments, tournaments... This has definitely been the keyword for this season and most definitely going forward. I've entered every single tourney I deemed worth it, and I did have some pretty good success here and there. Granted I still need to expand my collection to cover some areas I am currently lacking cards in. Yeah - I know - I can rent cards specifically for tourneys but I just don't feel that renting is the way I want to play the game. Especially since my rentals get cancelled on me more often than not and that's really annoying.
As far as the SPS tourneys go, all the tourneys the tourneys I entered had a fee of 2 SPS, so I broke even on all of them at the minimum.
I got a total of 35 SPS from them, and I spent 16 SPS on entries, so I am 19 SPS ahead from those, so that's not that bad at all.

The amount of cards received this season is in line with what I've got in the previous ones, so nothing really exceptional here, apart from the fact that I am yet to get a legendary card from the daily/seasonal chests. 😝

Last but not least as far as this account is concerned - the SPS Report. I have been trying to both increase my airdrops by buying additional packs and hodling them, and buying SPS so I can enter more and more tournaments.
I currently get about 8.4 SPS per day from airdrops and 1.8 SPS from staking - so a total of ~ 10 SPS, which is pretty good but can get even better... 😁

Let's have a look at what my alt account brought in in terms of cards and other stuff. As far as EOS rewards are concerned, last time I got a Harclaw, so I guess that is exceptionally hard to beat, even though this time I got two additional chests as I bumped myself up to Bronze I, while seasons prior to this one I was in Bronze II. So, 3 cards, a modest amount of credits and 4 potions out of the 9 chests. I won't say I'm satisfied with what I got but it is also nothing surprising. 😀

As you can see below my overall match statics have definitely improved this season (1st table below) vs last season (2nd table below). My win/loss ratio has increased by 0.51 which is pretty significant. That is probably due to the fact that it is actually easier to beat bots in Bronze I than in Bronze II.

As far as the daily quest rewards go... I yet again completed my daily quest every single day. As you can see.. this time around even though I was in Bronze I, I did not get a single card, not even one. On the other hand, last season I got 2 cards from daily chests in Bronze II, which is basically 2 times better. Let's hope the new season will bring better luck.

In terms of DEC earned - I've earned more DEC in Bronze I with 29 less wins than last season, which is expected as Bronze I generally brings more DEC to the table. In terms of credit rewards, I've not been lucky with those either as visible from the two tables below. 86 this season vs 301 last season.
