Heya fellow gamers! š®
What you've been playing lately? Any cool co-op games you can recommend? š
I asked about co-op games because today I'm going to write about a game from this category which I think is amongst some of the best co-op games released so far that it doesn't really matter how many years are passing over it, it will still remain as good as it was in the first day I played it. š
This is actually going to be a 2 in 1 game review because Don't Starve Together is the upgraded version of Don't Starve which only had the single-player option. But since there are players who love playing this game both alone or with a teammate, the developers made a great job releasing two separate games but with the same concept and idea behind them, namely, to survive in an unexplored world full of danger, mystery and surprises.

I think we can all agree that there are a bunch of survival games out there, or at least on the Steam platform. But you should really not consider your experience based on this aspect because even if the game was released 6 years ago, everything seems like being able to last forever and become one of those games that will never die and have its audience and players that will keep playing it while growing up and passing through a lot of phases in life.
At the moment I'm writing this post I only have the upgraded version of the game (Don't Starve Together) because this one was given to me as a gift from a dear friend that is also the single person I was playing this game with. We had lots of fun in the game for a while but as everyone knows that some people come in your life only for a short period of time, I stopped playing the game as soon as that person stepped away from my life.
Anyway, I have no regrets because as I said the game is really nice and it will offer you an experience that many of the 2022's game releases won't manage to give, so I definitely had a great time playing it.

Being a survival game, most likely this says a lot about the activities you will have in game, namely to explore the surroundings, gather resources to build things, haunt monsters which are not the usual creatures you find in a scary forest, but also meet new people that can become part of your team and even get to (virtually) live together.
However, while the scariest stories are shared on a camping fire during the night, the darkness will also bring with it the biggest dangers that sometimes might be described in boss fights, so make sure you are ready for such a fight instead of becoming a ghost that travels back in time.

Another thing that perhaps the fans of survival games are aware of is the variety of things you can enjoy in this type of games where Don't Starve Together makes no exception to the rule.
Even though there is only one world in the game, this comes with plenty of different realms that will get you on ancient lands, caves, islands and many more, which will make sure it will take quite a lot of time before you run out of things to do.

Whether you like living YOLO and survive with the minimum needs every night while during the day you'll move to a new place, or want to set your home in a place without travelling too much, there are plenty of things you can enjoy that will keep your boredom away because your time will be split between gathering resources and using these to build a house and farm that will make sure you are not starving.
The game comes with a total of 12 characters to pick from where every single one of them has its own abilities and items to use further. However, a character weakness can be the strength of other character so if you play the multiplayer version you can easily form a pretty powerful team with your friend if you want to. A good example of that is Wendy and Wolfgang where the girl loves darkness but it's not a good fighter and the boy hates to walk in the dark but he's a good fighter.
Oh, and let's not forget about the music of the game which is really nicely done and we all love to play a game that is accompanied by a pretty soundtrack, right? š
Conclusions š¤
If you are looking for games with one of those top-noth graphics, keep in mind that Don't Starve (Together) games are based more on the indie way of looking.
I like the way the developers thought on both categories (single and multiplayer) so I can only think about how nicely was done a survival game that can keep you busy for many hours in a row without realising when the time passes.
During my gaming sessions, I didn't encounter any bugs or errors which I think is important to mention because we rarely get to play a
game these days without having bugs, which also says a lot about the dedication of the developers to create the series.
Did you try it? š
I won't lie saying that I played this game every day since it was released because a few years passed since I last opened it, but I'm curious to find out if you played it? Or if you at least heard of it? š
Personally, I have some big issues finding a cool co-op game to play with either my boyfriend or my sister and I know it's a hard job when it comes to picking a game from this category because there are not too many great options out there, so if you encountered the same situation I'm curious to find out what co-op games you are/were playing because I'm always looking for more games from this category to try out. ā¤ļø
