I harvested young papaya from behind my house, yesterday the papaya suddenly fell in the backyard when I checked in the morning. A lot of animals like civets eat up a lot of my papaya at night. Unfortunately, today the young papaya is neglected, so instead of wasting it, I took the initiative to process it into a simple dish.
Sauteed Young Papaya Combination of Carrots
Like noodles, young papaya becomes more delicious if processed as a vegetable for side dishes at home. I deliberately cut it lengthwise to make it similar to the special noodles at home. Even though the texture and taste are different from noodles in general, the difference in taste is what actually aroused my enthusiasm to finish 2 portions of this dish in 2 stages of eating. I enjoy it in the afternoon and evening, the sensation at the beginning of the day makes me enjoy it again in the afternoon.
Stir-fried young papaya is made very simply but the taste is very delicious, sweet and savory and has a crunchy texture. So, to maintain the quality of the crispy texture, you have to pay attention to the cooking time. Make sure to cook at the right temperature and not overcook the papaya so that the taste is delicious.
Materials Used
1 carrot
1 tomato
1 cm galangal
3 green chilies
2 red chilies
3 cayenne peppers
5 cloves of red onion
1 clove of garlic
Cooking Procedure
Prepare the papaya, clean the papaya, peel the skin and remove the papaya seeds. Make sure you are careful with the papaya sap because it can itch. You can use plastic or gloves when peeling the skin.
Because it's difficult to peel it all at once, I cut it into several pieces first and then peeled the skin again.
So, after finishing peeling, I washed the papaya 3 times so that the remaining sap was completely clean.
I grated the papaya with a long grater, or you can cut it using whatever you have.
Do the same thing with the carrots, grate them lengthwise and the main ingredient is ready to use.
I started cutting the other spices, red chilies and green chilies.
Then start chopping the shallots, garlic and tomatoes, then just bruise the galangal.
Once all the ingredients are ready to use, heat the cooking oil then sauté the shallots and garlic.
Then add the tomatoes, galangal and green chilies, cook until wilted.
Then add the carrots, cook until half cooked, add a little water so that they cook quickly.
Add grated papaya and cook until cooked, stirring frequently.
Season with salt and mushroom stock and cook until perfectly cooked. So don't forget to correct the taste.
Results
Sauteed carrot papaya is ready to be served, serve it on your plate, then feel the different sensation when enjoying young papaya. This is not the first time I have enjoyed young papaya, there are various dishes that can be prepared from this young papaya. Especially this stir-fried carrot papaya
