My Morning -> Afternoon
After resting and falling asleep early following a long Tuesdays' hike, I prepared for my morning hike around the Royal Botanical Gardens: RBG Centre Hendrie Valley Park in Burlington, the last stop of my four day hikng excursion, all linked to my PinkBike blog above, as well as my previous ActiFit postings (found below):
Day One: @trezzahn/actifit-trezzahn-20220706t012501103z
Day Two: @trezzahn/actifit-trezzahn-20220708t035358265z
Day Three: @trezzahn/actifit-trezzahn-20220713t003441307z
I got myself ready after making some breakfast, took care of my hydroponics, herbs, in and outdoor gardens, front and back yards, plantings, and botany; and checked up on my crypto-apps, - Phoneum, PI, COIN and such -, generation, passives, dailies, faucets, miners and monitors before heading out to catch my first bus around 6am!
On way, I looked through my crypto-finances with CoinGecko, CryptoPanic, and HodL, economics with CryptoMarket nd CoinMarketCap, and checked up on my budgeting and expenses.
On my next bus now, through Oakville, I went through some Web 3 Dev. with OpenBlox, RunBlox, Melos Studios, and ProjectGalaxy's NFTs before boarding the train now to Appleby, borderline Buington.
On way, I caught up to some crypto-news with Aliens, BovineVerse, CreatD, Notion, Noble, and Medium, and, finishing up my train ride, boarded my last bus down Plains to the Royal Botanical Gardens: RBG Centre's Hendrie Valley Park and Trails where I would begin my hike, reviewing my AllTrails, TrailForks, and Strava trails, GaiaGPS Routing, and PinkBike blog whilst on way, arriving just before 8:30am!
Upon arriving,
I hiked toward the trailhead,
The Creek Side Walk,
Just past Unsworth Ave.,
Heading south,
I eventually,
Could hear water,
And began approaching,
The bridge crossing and trail intersection;
Heading west,
I traveled past the creek,
Down the trail,
Crossing one final bridge,
I headed on way,
With a beautiful view,
Of the marsh,
And its' totality,
I passed the floodplain,
Eventually,
Reaching the trail intersection,
I continued on the South Bridle Trail,
Passing green and beautiful foliage,
All surrounding me!
Finding this huge snail,
As I circled about,
And headed north easterly,
Then curved further north,
And circling about behind the * Hendrie Valley Gardens Centre*,
I passed more of the marsh,
As I reached the next intersection,
Reconnecting to the North Bridle Trail,
And Hendrie Park,
Through central Hendrie Valley,
Across the bridges,
Past the intersection,
Along the boardwalk,
Reconnecting to the Creek Side Walk,
And turning about,
Heading east,
Through the low-marsh,
Mossy as can be,
I crossed,
Following one final bridge,
I found these beautiful Mute Swans!
They were huge!
Reconnecting,
Passing the trail-exit,
Heading now along the Kicking Horse Trail,
And following this beautiful trail,
Right to Plains Rd. W,
Finding a unique statue on way!
After a short break by the Centre,
And after a short walk around the grounds,
I checked out the vegetable garden,
And the flower garden,
The area was beautiful!
And full of culture!
I checked out the Woodland Garden Trail,
Walking around,
Snapping shots of the short hike,
And eventually,
Continuing,
Past the exit,
I took a few more shots before continuing on,
Then I continued southerly
Heading further south to Plains Rd W and back west,
Reaching the Grindstone Marshes Trail,
Traveling west,
Through the valley,
The marsh,
Past the intersection,
Boardwalk,
Almost a kilometer long!
Back to the dirt trail,
And following,
Past the forest,
And passing under Plains Rd. W,
One could see these beautiful,
White,
Trumpeter Swans!
There were 3 of them,
And a baby,
And when they decided to take a dip in the water,
I snapped a few shots,
Of all of them,
As they began,
Swimming away!
There was this beautiful Robin,
And the beautiful scenery,
All surrounding!
Reaching Spring Gardens Rd.,
And subsequent Laking Garden's Valley Inn Trail,
Crossing,
And reaching,
After crossing the waterway,
The York Blvd. Connector Trail,
Beside the RBG: Rock Garden,
Just off Hwy. 403 in Hamilton;
Passing the underpass,
And traveling through,
I headed onward,
Getting a good view of the city,
And reaching the top,
Above the train tracks!
That was a good hike!
After, I prepared to go downtown - for there were friends to see and good times to be had!
I had officially finished exploring the Royal Botanical Gardens!
My Afternoon -> Evening
As afternoon arrived and after finishing my hike, I headed downtown Hamilton to go see some good friends!
Arriving early afternoon, I was ready for a good day!
My Evening -> Night
And with evening drawing near, I ultimately headed back to Mississauga around 7pm.
I prepared my writings for the night; I put together my AllTrails posting, TrailForks and Strava trails, GaiaGPS routes, and PinkBike blog with linking to ActiFit whilst on way.
Preparing to arrive for 9p, I got myself ready for an early nights sleep after a long day and sent in my writings for the night shortly before arriving back.
For today had been a wonderful day!
I look forward to what tomorrow has in store!
Cheers to yet another good one all, and to tomorrow's, all fellow ActiFitters - the best of days! 🍻
