OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1107th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

What inspired me was that there were some pumpkins or auyama as we say in my country Venezuela without doing anything and well more than that was that I wanted to do this challenge to see how it turned out, my mom made it but very rarely, the one who did it frequently was my grandmother and she said well why not try it.

It's been a busy few days and that's why I haven't been able to sit down and write some posts to share here, but believe me I kept thinking about what I was going to publish. Today I share with you a little bit of what my Holy Friday was like, with a nice family sharing and of course, the dish that cannot be missed, a good fish curd that was finger-licking good. A very nice day full of joy and pleasant moments with the family.

These last few weeks I have been going from one place to another in the city, I have been doing different errands related to my health, and while walking I have noticed how our city has changed. Formerly in my city the buildings were horizontal houses, now the most significant properties are horizontals and duplexes; This could be justified by the increase in the population, however, what most strikes me is the change in the façade. I am not saying all of them, but most of them have incorporated large iron defenses, as if wanting to give more security to those who live there, this has only one reading, to anticipate the insecurity that is being experienced in the main cities of the country.

Recently, I visited a mall in my city, it called Plaza Semanggi. I was struck by the emptiness and silence that greeted me. The mall was nearly empty, with only a few shoppers and tenants present. I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia for the way things used to be.

It's weird how these things work. This woman probably had people who knew her personally and cared for her, who laughed with her, shared food and drink regularly at her table, enjoyed her company to whatever extent possible and are currently mourning her loss. I don't experience any connection to them nor could I imagine them being my friends if I knew them personally. I don't hate Lucena or any member of this regime, dead or alive, but I wouldn't speak in favor of most of them if I found myself in that position. Some people deal so much harm to such a large number of people for so long, that the best they could hope for is indifference. That's what I experience right now, a mixture of relief and apathy toward these news, and honestly, excitement for what's to come now, because this regime's ranks are thinning out and they must vanish in order for the New Venezuela to fully bloom.

As today is a day of many activities, errands to solve on the street, I needed a good breakfast and a drink that would be the nutritious complement that would offer me a lot of energy and allow me to have a good performance in my tasks today.

Starting the morning with a nutritious and healthy drink like this one is something I value. I hadn't consumed CAMBUR for many days and this fruit was almost never missing in my house 🏡.

I always arrange all the heavy and organized ingredients before starting the preparation of the recipe, and it turns out that between one thing and another I forgot to put one of the ingredients to the cake nothing more and nothing less than the egg whites, and when I saw the egg whites in the package I wanted to die, I could not do anything because the cake was already baking, Well I said to myself the cake will be like a cookie, since the egg whites make it fluffy, and I said to myself and now what do I do with the egg whites, well I prepared what I like so much meringues, and they were super rich, and these meringues were used to decorate my cake, so without thinking it came out of a planning for a dessert I got two delicious desserts. That if friends this recipe remains between us because I did not say anything to my family, because if I tell them they are already predisposed with the cake, instead they were super fascinated with the cake.

Anyway, I could work, that was the important thing, I already knew the letters, their location on each button, that helped me a lot, to be able to write, but of course, I ran the risk of making a mistake, especially when I got into the bank accounts, where you have to put the passwords right, because after several failed attempts it gets blocked.

In my country we usually say that our children's teachers are their second mothers, because they are with them approximately 5 hours a day which translates into 25 hours a week, they teach them basic knowledge for their grade, they instill discipline, respect, solidarity, companionship and a number of values that definitely reinforce what we teach them at home.
