OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2172nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

“A jugar con Hugo” was a video game show broadcast on Argentine television on a channel that no longer exists, “Magic Kids”, and I loved watching the show and seeing how different children from different parts of the country managed to communicate with the show and play with Hugo to win a video game from him.

When I don't have any fixed morning classes, I usually spend more time with my parents and our fur babies in the morning. We'd bask in the morning sun and take turns playing and walking them. Last morning was the same, though later, I'll have to work from 7 AM. (I fell asleep last night and woke up in now 3:30 AM, so I'm making use of this time to blog... since I missed doing it earlier. XD)

Today I bring you one of my songs, called “Y tocando mi guitarra.” In it I ask myself what things I would have to do to make someone like me—whether to give them the sun or put the sea inside a bottle. It sounds like a fanciful lyric, but it is a song I wrote with a lot of love a long time ago, and I remember it with great affection.

We rode their van going to the place because the spot is not accessible to public transport yet. It was like a hidden gem. As we arrived, we still needed to walk a little further passing a forest-like place with rough ground. There are parts when we have to climb to a high ground so the path is also not easy and it is breath catching. But after the 10 minute walk, it was all worth it.

It's not about giving up the bright screen, the laughter of videos, the scrolling of emotions. I think that would be impossible, especially in these times, and besides, we'd be distancing ourselves from a great source of knowledge and information. It's about learning to set limits, knowing when to stop, knowing when we're being asked for more than we're given. It's about knowing that you don't need background music or someone to press a "like" button to realize you exist and that you have the power to choose and be yourself. A single honest statement is enough: "Here I am, and I don't need to scroll or show myself off. I continue living outside the screen, and my life is unique." And with that, the soul begins to fill with truth, not reflections.

This is the first Maryed Music Capsule for 2026, and this time I'm going to give you some music recommendations that I received last year and liked so much that now I want to recommend them to you. Usually, in my Music Capsules, I recommend three songs, but this first Capsule will only have two songs because I feel like I have a lot to say about them. These recommendations came from a wonderful person whom I have grown to love and respect deeply. This person has some tastes similar to mine and, like me, is quite receptive when it comes to exchanging recommendations, not only in terms of music, but also in terms of movies and many other topics. But okay, let's get down to business, the two songs you have to listen to this week! I'm sure you'll love them.

Back in this new year, today I want to share a delicious panettone recipe with you. It's the first time I've made it; I was always tempted to prepare it but never dared to. This time, I overcame my insecurity and got to work. Perhaps it's not like the ones they sell, but the result was excellent for me.

I can't remember the last time I took a selfie and when I say selfie, I mean a normal photo of myself, without making silly faces or acting like a fool, hihi. Today I made a few random shots and these three are the most ladylike possible. The thing is, selfies like this have been putting me in a low mood over the past year or two, because I notice changes in my eyes. In my head that feels like a really big problem. So big that I sometimes feel like my whole face has changed and that I no longer look like myself.

I have a good friend whom I met here on the Hive platform. We have had a beautiful friendship ever since, writing to each other on social media and sometimes calling each other, with the hope of one day moving from the virtual to the real world, of meeting in person, either me visiting her or her visiting me.
