Él es Bartolo, hijo de un gato muy grande que vivía en la calle (que realmente era muy hermoso) y una gatita blanca que hace muchos años venía a comer a mi casa y, aunque a mi mamá no le gustaban los gatos, igual le daba comida. Esta gata tuvo su parto en algún lado, pero me dejó aquí sus 3 gatitos, mi mamá sólo esperaba que crecieran un poco y que se fueran, pero yo no podía dejar de alimentarlos con leche porque se veían muy indefensos, así logré que 2 se quedaran conmigo, y al final mi mamá les agarró cariño.

He is Bartolo, son of a very big cat that lived in the street (which was really very beautiful) and a white kitten that many years ago came to eat at my house and, although my mom didn't like cats, she still gave her food. This cat had her delivery somewhere, but she left me here her 3 kittens, my mom was just waiting for them to grow up a little and leave, but I couldn't stop feeding them with milk because they looked very helpless, so I managed to keep 2 of them with me, and in the end my mom got fond of them.

Se llamaron Benito y Bartolo, siempre estaban en casa porque su mamá ya no los cuidaba, en realidad los empezó a atacar y fue algo muy triste, pero ya había decidido quedármelos. La muerte de Benito fue muy dolorosa para mí porque siempre estaba conmigo, pero lastimosamente murió envenenado, nunca lo olvidaré porque fue uno de mis primeros gatos.

Their names were Benito and Bartolo, they were always at home because their mother did not take care of them anymore, she started to attack them and it was very sad, but I had already decided to keep them. Benito's death was very painful for me because he was always with me, but unfortunately he died of poisoning, I will never forget him because he was one of my first cats.

Luego de eso se podía sentir la tristeza en Bartolo, él buscaba a su hermano, una vez se perdió por varios días y me asusté... A veces siento a Bartolo como un niño herido que tuvo que crecer muy rápido por perder a su hermano, pero algo impresionante pasó después, su hermana volvió. No tengo fotos de ella porque son pocas las veces que viene a comer y no le gusta que se le acerquen mucho, pero Bartolo siempre la cuida mucho.

After that you could feel the sadness in Bartolo, he was looking for his brother, once he got lost for several days and I got scared.... Sometimes I feel Bartolo like a hurt child who had to grow up very fast because he lost his brother, but something awesome happened later, his sister came back. I don't have pictures of her because she rarely comes to eat and she doesn't like to be approached too much, but Bartolo always takes good care of her.

Es un gato muy leal, tuvo ya sus momentos de mal comportamiento y sus desapariciones por días, pero siempre vuelve, aunque muchas veces con moretones que debemos curarles, por eso tiene un pequeño hueco en una oreja, eso es un colmillo de otro gato. Aquí es muy difícil encontrar jornadas de esterilización, pero es mi sueño encontrar una que me ayude con eso para que mi gato deje de tener tantos problemas en la calle.

He is a very loyal cat, he already had his moments of bad behavior and his disappearances for days, but he always comes back, although many times with bruises that we have to cure, that's why he has a small hole in one ear, that is a fang of another cat. Here it is very difficult to find spay/neuter clinics, but it is my dream to find one that will help me with that so that my cat will stop having so many problems in the street.

Otro problema que tiene es que, prácticamente es como yo, se enferma muy seguido. Al pasar días fuera y de noche, regresa con mocos que no lo dejan respirar bien, es tierno verlo estornudando pero claramente entiendo lo molesto que es y siempre le doy jarabes para calmarle eso aunque no le gusten.

Another problem he has is that he is practically like me, he gets sick very often. Spending days outside and at night, he comes back with snot that doesn't let him breathe well, it's sweet to see him sneezing but clearly I understand how annoying it is and I always give him syrups to calm him down even though he doesn't like them.

Bartolo es un gato muy leal, insisto, siempre está conmigo y le gusta que le den mucho cariño, aunque le tiene miedo a los hombres grandes, pero con algunos ha dejado ese temor y, si quiere, va y se te acuesta en las piernas... Puede parecer que no, pero es muy adorable y una gran compañía, es uno de mis primeros gatos y el amor eterno de mi mamá, quien nunca antes tuvo un gato porque no le gustaban, las vueltas que da la vida, jajajaja.

Bartolo is a very loyal cat, I insist, he is always with me and likes to be given lots of affection, although he is afraid of big men, but with some he has left that fear and, if he wants, he goes and lies on your lap.... It may not seem like it, but he is very adorable and a great companion, he is one of my first cats and the eternal love of my mom, who never had a cat before because she didn't like them, the twists and turns that life gives, hahahaha.
