Here is the second doughnut I had from Krispy Kreme's Christmas donuts. I was really looking forward to this one as it was a flavour they haven't done before. Hopefully this Santa's Little Helper was going to be good.

Krispy Kreme haven't done an Elf before. I was excited to see it and when I did, it did look very 'Elfy'. The green really stood out along with the bright yellow buckle. Most importantly though was what was this going to taste like. Well after eating two thirds of the donut, all I got was chocolate. It didn't taste like their normal brownie batter or another chocolate centre they have. It was just funny. I knew this donut was supposed to be cheesecake kreme and chocolate filling, but the chocolate didn't taste right and I got a smidgen' of cheesecake. Very disappointing I have to say.
After really looking forward to this, the donut was such a letdown. I thought this was going to be really delicious and one I'd have to get in again before they go. This donut was sooo bad. It wasn't 'Ho ho ho" , more like 'Ho no no!!'
