Hey, gamers! What's everyone playing lately?
For the first time in a while, even though I had some free time I didn't feel like playing games today anymore since yesterday had a CSGO match and my brain literally got blocked after getting so many toxic teammates.
Don't get me wrong, I play CS for over 10 years and I did meet all kinds of people so I didn't expect to get surprised by the random players I get in my team anymore thinking that perhaps I've already seen everything in all these years. However, it happened, and it affected me more than ever so I did want to take a break from the gaming industry for a while. It's just incredible how toxic some guys can be and how badly they can affect others with their behaviour...
Fortunately, The Crew 2 stays quite away from that kind of players and with the occasion of being Wednesday there was released another Live Summit but also two more stories in the American Legends season that I was looking forward to playing since I already completed the others published so far.
The current event is called Westside Crusin' and it will mostly focus its races on the Golden State that you can complete between 27th April and 4th May:
- Aerobatics - where you have to fly a plane and match some figures shown in the air while collecting 4,280 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Speedtrap - being required to cross a specific radar location with a speed faster than 200 km/h to qualify further. [No Restriction Race]
- Escape - where you are needed to drive at least 710 meters away from the starting point. [No Restriction Race]
- Street - a first race on the streets of the US where you have to place yourself on one of the Top 3 places. [LowRider Naranja Edicion]
- Street - similar to the previous one but where you can drive any vehicle you want this time and follow a different trail. You still need to get on one of the first 3 positions. [No Restriction Race]
- EXTREME series - a race composed of 4 others where you will drive both cars and boats but where the most important thing is to cross the finish line on the First place. [No Restriction Race]
- Touring - similar to the Street races but where you will drive a circuit car this time and be needed to get one of the Top 3 positions. [Impala Sport Sedan required]
- Powerboat - a pretty basic and easy race on the water against other seven players where you will need again to reach one of the first 3 places. [No Restriction Race]
- Street - last but not least, another Street race that this time it will be held on a Touring trail. You need to score a better record than 05:11.000 minutes. [No Restriction Race]

First thing first I always do before beginning the races is to check if there are needed any vehicles to be bought for the current event which sometimes comes with the request of buying 4 new cars and sometimes with no need to spend any money that week.
However, this time there was this interesting car requested for the 4th race which even though is a basic Street race, I was really excited to buy this car and add it to my collection. A thing that I really like about the racing games that are held in the US is driving those specific muscle cars that I am a fan of.
I'd never see myself driving one in real life but it's the right sample of what I consider a car being a gem on four wheels because they are so classy and different from everyone sees on the roads, that it's literally impossible not to take a picture of or have a smile on your face while seeing one. š
Though, as much as I appreciate this kind of cars, I've never seen them suitable for competing in a race just because they are a little bit harder to be handled than the others and won't reach a big speed too fast... so I didn't manage to hit that 100,000 points goal but I was still happy to get pretty close to it.

A pretty similar situation happened on the 7th race of the current event which even though I was owning the car requested already and had a few cool free rides with it in the game, I couldn't focus too much on the race itself and only scored a little bit over 60,000 points. However, I do love the way this car looks and it's one of my favourites for sure.
Though, while I mentioned about a Street race and then a Touring one, find out that the last race of the event will be a mix between the two where you will literally drive a Street vehicle on a Touring trail. Don't be scared because this is a race held still on the streets and not the usual circuit we see on the Touring events, so everything should be pretty easy for everyone who's playing it.

While the rest of the races didn't catch my attention too much, there was this one entitled LIVE Extreme Series that you can enjoy on the 6th race from the even which is basically a mix between 4 different races.
Is true that you won't be limited on what vehicles to use for the ride but you will participate in an event that is split into Rally Cross, Hypercar, Powerboat and Alpha Grand Prix without having time to relax or adapt your driving skills on the new discipline coming up because it's an event where you compete against the most skilled bots of the game which you can call the bosses of each category that won't have any mercy on you.
It's a pretty energy consuming race where is very important to pay attention to the action going on in the game and quickly adapt your driving skills when, for example, you will jump off the street with your car and have it turned into a boat that you need to drive on the water.
This is a pretty rare event that you will see in this kind of Live Summits, so that's why I was really excited about because it's been a while since I last played a mixed race like this one.
š What do you think of the toxic players?
How do you deal with all the dark energy they share in multiplayer/online games?

Happily, lately, you won't see a Live Summit being released alone but also with two more stories that you can complete in the American Legends season which is perhaps the best season released so far, so take your time to explore some of the less known parts of the game and also read the whole story which is pretty interesting too, while getting a nice reward at the end of the journey.
The first such mission completed is called Gold Rush and it comes with the next 8 steps:
- St. George House Location
- Salt Lake City Army Surplus
- Hotel's Car Park
- Hotel on the Lake
- The Sawmill Southwest of Saint Mary
- The Shelter Between Badlands and Black Hills
- The Building in the New East Side Chicago
- Lower Peninsula Brother's Mansion
The action is mainly focused on the big cities of the US where you will have to either find some specific hotels, apartments or shops on the map but as boring as it seems, they all have something unique and interesting that will make you take a screenshot of. I'm always surprised how many details have been added to everything in this game, so here I am, 300+ hours later after purchasing it and playing almost daily ever since, lol.
Reward: RAW Gold Nitro
The next story completed is actually another part released of The Lucky Guy series that comes weekly with new twists and things to do while enjoying some more perspectives of the game.
The Lucky Guy 6 comes with 3 steps only:
- House in Dallas
- Oil Well
- Port Arthur's Refinery
Even if it's a story that you will complete pretty quick, it's really impressive how the developers of the game thought about splitting The Lucky Guy in more parts so they keep their players interested in finding out what happens next. And I make no exception to the rule. š
Reward: 67,500 bucks
That's all for today, gearheads!
Thanks for taking time to read and stop by! š
