Hello everyone! 😜
How are you? Are you ready for some adventure on those gems on two wheels? 🛵
Looks like the developers of The Crew 2 are full of surprises lately with the new season released right after the previous one concluded while they were usually making us wait at least one more month before a new release, but also with the brand new Live Summit which was just released which is perhaps one of the best events a motorbike fan can play these days.
Anyway, before we get to see what the new weekly event came with, I'd like to mention that from now on I'll dedicate my The Crew 2 posts for both the Live Summits I was usually writing about, but also for the 2 weekly stories that are released which are part of the American Legends season that I consider as being the best season released so far.
However, I'd suggest starting with the beginning and see what races came with the American Bikers Live Summit that will run between 23rd to 30th March:
- Escape - being required to drive on the highway at least 930 meters away from the starting point. [No Restriction Race]
- Slalom - where you have to get through a lot of obstacles placed on an off-road trail while collecting no less than 4,540 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Low Altitude - where you are needed to fly a plane and keep it as low as possible to the ground while getting a score bigger than 2,700 points. [No Restriction Race]
- Street - the first race with an American bike where you have to reach the Top 3 places in order to qualify further. [Iron 883 required]
- Street - similar to the previous race but where you are forced to drive a specific bike without being able to upgrade its parts. Reaching Top 3 it's also a requirement here. [Forced Vehicle]
- Motocross - another race with a bike but where this time we are talking about an off-road trail. You have to make your way on one of the Top 3 positions to move further. [No Restriction Race]
- Street - one more race on the streets of the US driving an American bike. You need to be amongst the first 3 players when crossing the finish line. [Street Glide required]
- Rally Raid - another off-road race where you are not forced to drive a specific bike but where you still need to use a motorcycle in order to complete this. Make sure to be on one of the Top 3 positions when finishing the race. [Bike required]
- Street - one last Street race driving a bike but which is held on a Touring circuit so do expect to spend at least 5 minutes completing this race. This time your enemy will be the time being required to beat 06:50.000 minutes. [Scout required]
On a quick look at the panel with the races, you'll notice lots of yellow and orange races which are standing for the street races which can be both Street and Hyper, and then the off-road races where we have Rally Raid, Rally Cross and Motocross. And what better way to have some fun with a motorcycle if not both on the street and mud? 😎

However, if you are only at the beginning with this game or don't really own motorcycles, be sure that you'll have to spend a few bucks on purchasing these requested in the American Bikers Live Summit. I have over 300 hours in this game and I still had to purchase two that I wasn't already owning, but the good part is that talking about old-school bikes and not the sports ones, these are pretty cheap costing around $50,000 each, so you don't need to have a fortune to purchase them.
You will earn around $50,000 from a maximum of two random races completed in the game, so it's pretty easy to get the money to buy them too!
Even though I don't usually take these in a specific order, this time I completed the Live Summit one race by one, starting with the Escape race which I'm used not being able to hit the 100,000 points goal I set to myself, but this time it was held on a highway so not too many obstacles or curves to pay attention to and that's how I managed to drive around 8 km away from the starting point which was 8x times more than requested. Yay! 😋
The slalom is pretty easy too, especially if you are using a bike because that will allow you to gain speed faster and move easier between the obstacles. Anyway, the one you should pay a little bit more attention to, is the Low Altitude race which of course it starts in the air but where if you follow the straight path the game indicates you to, you won't reach 100,000 points because there are plenty of trees you have to avoid.
So for this one I simply started the race and then turned 90° to the left where there was a valley and managed to fly a lot closer to the ground that I was doing in the forest. Don't forget to pay attention to details and search for new ways to complete those races because the starting ones are not always the best choices! 💪
And of course, from now on, all the races left that you will have to complete, are those with the motorcycles where the Street ones are pretty similar to each other, competing against 5 other players being needed to reach one of the first 3 positions. However, the interesting thing here is that in every race you will have to drive a specific bike which is also a great opportunity to see their handling and find out what works the best for you since it's not very easy to control the motorcycles in The Crew 2.
The Motocross race is a little bit more challenging than the others because there are a lot of dunes you have to jump over and curves to take, so there are not too many moments when you can take advantage of that nitro button. I was only using this while being in the air or to return from a wrong path.
The last race of the event it's a Street one that I already said a little about in the list with the races. Namely that even though it's a street race, it's being held on a Touring trail which are usually a lot longer than the normal races, but which is pretty easy if you check the map from time to time and press the brake pedal when needed.
I also attached a picture with the race to make an idea of. This kind of race was part of a previous season of the game which I personally loved to complete back then. 😃
🔓 What's your favourite motorcycle? Do you own one?
Mine is a Honda CBR 1000 RR but I'd also like an off-road one. 😍

Platinum: INDIAN MOTORCYCLE SCOUT® THE CRUISER EDITION (2015)

Now, to move a little bit further from the Live Summit, along with this one, there are going to be released 2 new stories from the American Legends season where each story comes with a set of steps you can follow that are based on a story and which, at the end, will be concluded with a reward.
However, since you need to spend quite a few hours to complete all the steps because this is more of a hide and seek mission, I'll always post the stories completed in the previous week because there won't be enough time to write about the current ones in the same day I post this type of articles.
So the first story I completed is called A Billionaire's Work which comes with the following 12 steps:
- The biggest yacht
- The oil field
- The Smoking Cigar's Club
- Hotel in Miami
- The garage
- Dinosaur Park
- Railroad station
- Pawn Shop in Vegas
- House in Santa Barbara
- Old barn
- Auto Repair in Los Angeles
- Quarter deck of the yacht
You'll notice that these are quite generic names like finding a specific garage, hotel or auto repair, but every single step comes with clear indications such as at South of Dallas and Northeast of Forth Stockton...
Anyway, while some of them you crossed countless times without noticing but you sort of have an idea where you could find these, there are also the other ones which are usually in empty places on the map without any race close to them which is a great opportunity to explore some unknown. But make sure you are patient enough because this will end up with a lot of zoom in and zoom out on the map to find everything requested. 😁
Reward: Porsche 550 Spyder
The 2nd mission completed is called The Lucky Guy 1 which is a lot shorter than the first one but which also comes with 3 steps:
- House in Chattanooga
- Pine Island
- Shop in Nashville
This time the story is less challenging due to the tasks that won't take that much to be completed because of the races that are not as long as they were in A Billionaire's Work but also because of the indications that for some reasons I managed to pass those steps faster. Perhaps that's why we won't enjoy such a big reward this time since this one is a lot easier than the first story.
Reward: 67,500 bucks
While I didn't really play the game daily to complete the 5x tasks released every day, I took advantage of the weekly challenges where each one completed comes with 20x motorstars that will pump you 2 levels further in the season. There is also the last race from the current Live Summit that will reward you with 30x motorstars which means 3 more levels.
That's how I managed to reach level 25 in just 7 days since American Legends Season was released, putting my hands on that awesome Porsche you see on the picture from the top but also on the suit you can see in the 4th picture of the article. I absolutely love these and I'm happy they were FREE for everyone, no matter if you purchased the Motorpass or not. 😍
That's all for today, folks! Thanks for taking time to read and stop by!
And don't hesitate to share your thoughts on this article down below as I'd love to know what's your favourite motorbike or if you already own one! 💚
