After a few days of being away on Hive, I am now again back to continue the blogging challenge posted by , Let's Do A 30-Day Blogging Challenge!!!. I think I should post 2 challenges per day to cope up. Lol.

The twelfth blogging challenge is about sharing what you do to recharge. As an anxious introvert, recharging is a must. I actually to do it all the time. Gotta charge my batteries all the time to maintain full 9 lives! Lol. :)
#1 ZZZ
My number one way to recharge, of course, is to get a good long sleep. I tend to procrastinate a lot so I usually start doing things near the deadline, and that means spending more time on and depriving myself some sleep. After that, I hit the bed quickly and sleep as long as my body requires. Same goes after coming from a long trip or a sleepover. However, most of us probably know that only our body is tired after a trip or doing other activities and that we can function as usual again right after. It's saddening that people tend to overlook mental health. In my case, I require myself time to rest not only for my body but also for my mind which leads to the next...
#2 ALONE TIME
As an introvert, it is important to give myself space after a rigorous task/activity or socialization before stepping into the next. I needed to immerse myself in this blank space, a time only exclusively for myself and free from external disturbances. This helps me regain my energy and think properly.
#3 LISTEN TO MUSIC
Of course, music is an essential for introverts especially when having an alone time. When I get stressed, I plug my earphones and listen to my favorite artists. Some songs calm my mind while some send me a surge of energy especially upbeat music. I like listening to rock songs because you can feel the enormous grit with the melody and lyrics. (Hello, ONE OK ROCK!) Sometimes I also go on shuffle and listen to random songs from different artists. I can find new favorite songs through it!
#4 TURN OFF SOCIAL MEDIA
Another thing that I do that is difficult to majority and disliked by my friends is when I turn away from social media. That means not posting nor logging in for days, weeks, or even months. Social media can be a entertaining and a good past time, people jump to it to keep themselves "relaxed" in between a stressful job, but it is actually doing us more harm more than putting ourselves at ease. We just don't notice it. For me, I include not opening social media on my time of recharge, not only because it tires my eyes and my vulnerable hands from my holding my phone for long periods of time, but also to prevent reading unnecessary posts that could initiate stress and other negativity on my mind. Also, social media is very addictive and sometimes you wouldn't notice you've already wasted an hour scrolling! Congratulations, you're now closer to damaging your eyes and getting carpal tunnel syndrome!
#5 AUTO MODE
Part of the alone time in number 2 is putting myself in auto mode. Of course, I can't just sit and stare on the wall during my alone time. New and demanding activities is what drains me the most and when during my recharging time, I fall back doing my usual minimal and simple activities which includes cleaning, organizing, and gardening. Okay, sometimes drawing too, but only with random sketches. :)
Sometimes, I live near the beach so I could just spend my time there watching the sunrise/sunset and the sound of the waves blurring the noise around you or on top of the mountain so I could just stare at the fog and adore the enigmatic view of trees. ❤️ Actually, writing here on Hive helps me feel a bit recharged too because I can pour out what's on my mind. Thanks, Hive!
That's all for my 12th blogging challenge entry!
Good morning!
