Como bien es sabido por todos, el día de ayer hubo un ataque militar de los Estados Unidos de América sobre Venezuela, y como resultado de ese ataque, el presidente de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela fue secuestrado a través de una operación especial en Fuerte Tiuna junto con su esposa. Sí es cierto que muchos venezolanos tenemos críticas contra el gobierno y estamos molestos por muchas de las condiciones que nos ha tocado vivir en el país, también es cierto que estamos en contra de cualquier intervención extranjera que interfiera contra nuestra soberanía e independencia. Hay también otro gran grupo de venezolanos, que apoya y defiende al gobierno sin aceptar ningún tipo de crítica, y si nos vamos a un cálculo a través de las elecciones, estamos hablando de un núcleo de 3,8 a 4 millones de venezolanos. Existe otro grupo de venezolanos, a los que no les interesa la política y solo quieren vivir en paz, trabajar, producir y estudiar. Finalmente, hay una minoría de venezolanos que aprueban no solo el ataque militar que hizo Trump, sino que también aprueban el robo descarado que ha realizado por el imperio estadounidense de nuestros recursos, que además aprueban las más 950 sanciones unilaterales impuestas al país, y que están dispuestos a vender la patria y sus recursos, ya sea esto por odio al gobierno, por interés personal o por tener una estructura mental colonizada.

Es decir, hay 4 tendencias en el país, que serían:

Los que apoyan totalmente al gobierno
La oposición que tiene fuertes críticas al gobierno, pero que no acepta la intervención extranjera, ni apoya las aventuras militares imperiales de los políticos estadounidenses que ven a Latinoamérica como su patio trasero, constituida por gente de izquierda, centro, socialcristianos y centro derecha.
Un grupo de venezolanos que cada vez crece más, que están hartos de los políticos y que solo están interesados en trabajar y vivir su vida en paz y tranquilidad. De hecho, la población política los llama: “Los Ni, Ni”
El sector fascista, traidor de la patria, que está dispuesto a entregar los recursos del país al imperio estadounidense.

Esos son los 4 grandes grupos en los que está dividida la población venezolana y, de esos 4 grupos, solo el grupo de los fascistas y de la derecha más a ultranza son los que están apoyando las acciones militares estadounidenses en contra del país.

Ayer tres de enero del 2026, yo estaba durmiendo y a las 2 de la mañana escuché una explosión en pleno centro de Caracas, la cual me despertó de inmediato.

Al salir del balcón de mi apartamento, lo primero que hice fue mirar hacia el Palacio Blanco y hacia el Cuartel la Montaña, y no vi movimientos extraños o explosiones; luego miré hacia la parte norte, hacia el Ávila, ya que se escuchó un avión o motor de dron en el cielo, y detrás de una nube vi cómo se iluminó un punto anaranjado, y a los 3 o 5 segundos hubo una explosión tremenda explosión en el centro de Caracas, y vi cómo una cantidad de centellas y chispas anaranjadas, salían por la parte superior de un edificio de unos 15 pisos de altura. Posteriormente, hubo una tercera explosión y buena parte de la zona suroeste de Caracas, incluyendo la zona donde vivo, quedó sin luz, y resulta que fue un ataque a la subestación eléctrica que está entre La Vega y El Valle.

Como a los 5 minutos de esa explosión, se apagaron las luces del Cuartel de la Montaña donde está la sede de la Milicia Bolivariana, y a los pocos segundos hubo una explosión y después se sintió la segunda explosión.

Yesterday, the third of January 2026, I was sleeping and at 2 o'clock in the morning I heard an explosion in the center of Caracas, which woke me up immediately.

Hechos que pude constatar y de los que tengo seguridad de que ocurrieron.

Ataque aéreo a Fuerte Tiuna y ataque con helicópteros para secuestrar a Maduro.

En este punto hablé con amigos que viven en las residencias de Fuerte Tiuna y en el sector del Valle, que está frente al fuerte.

Ellos me comentaron en vivo, que había enfrentamientos y disparos, que además había helicópteros disparando y que hubo fuertes combates en tierra; también me comentaron que había algunas casas residencias personales que fueron bombardeadas y reducidas a la nada.

Otro amigo me comentó que, desde el kilómetro cero de la Panamericana, había un helicóptero disparando de manera constante hacia Fuerte Tiuna.

También me comentaron que se inició la evacuación de toda la zona residencial de Fuerte Tiuna, mientras continuaban los disparos de los helicópteros y los combates en tierra. Mientras hablaba con ellos se escuchaban los disparos y las explosiones en el teléfono.

Ataque al volcán en El Hatillo en Caracas.

Una compañera de clases, criada conmigo en el Cafetal y que actualmente reside en el Hatillo con su familia, me comentó que bombardearon el Volcán y que las ventanas de su casa temblaban debido a las ondas expansivas de las bombas.

El Volcán es uno de los sectores más altos de la ciudad de Caracas, donde se domina todo el valle donde está nuestra ciudad capital. Ahí hay o había antenas de comunicaciones, repetidoras de televisoras privadas, centros de comunicación de algunas empresas, comunicaciones de la policía y de instituciones y organismos del Estado.

Ataque a la base misilística en Higuerote:

Comentario de un testigo:

“Estábamos a punto de irnos a Caracas, pero mi hermana nos dijo que ya era tarde y que nos quedáramos para irnos al día siguiente, así que seguimos de vacaciones ese día, fuimos a la piscina con los niños, jugamos dominó y después cenamos y nos acostamos, para salir temprano hacia Caracas.

En la madrugada, sentimos una explosión enorme y sentimos cómo los vidrios de la ventana vibraron hasta casi romperse; los niños se levantaron gritando asustados y los más pequeños llorando. Las mujeres fueron a atender a los niños y mi cuñado y yo abrimos la puerta para ver qué pasaba.

Escuchamos un avión, vimos un punto naranja en el cielo y, a los 5 segundos, hubo una enorme explosión, y vimos cómo los vidrios del edificio del frente se rompieron. Después de la tercera explosión, aprendimos que después de que se escuchaba el avión y se veía el punto naranja, teníamos solo 5 segundos para cubrirnos en el piso; en total fueron 7 explosiones las que escuchamos. En la mañana, cerca de las 6 de la mañana, nos vinimos para Caracas; lo impresionante es que no había en todo el trayecto ni una sola alcabala.”

Ataque a La Guaira:

Este testimonio me lo dio un vecino que es opositor acérrimo al gobierno:

“Nosotros veníamos de Chuspa, pasamos por toda La Guaira, pero comprobé que muchas de las cosas que decían las redes eran mentira; entre ellas decían que la Casa Guipuzcuana estaba destruida, pero pasamos por el frente y la casa estaba en pie, con algunas manchas chamuscadas, pero la casa se veía completa.

Lo que sí pudimos ver fue unos impactos en el puerto, pero no fue una destrucción total como decían las redes.

Con nosotros estaba un piloto aeronaval, que estaba con su novia de vacaciones, y lo llamaron para que se presentara en la base, en la mañana del día 3 después de los ataques.”

Me comuniqué con una amiga que vive cerca del Hospital Universitario, y ella me comentó: “están entrando muchísimos autos con muertos y heridos al hospital, pero los carros no usan sirenas ni luces”.
Me comuniqué con amigos en el Estado Carabobo; me comentaron que ahí no había pasado absolutamente nada, pero que mucha gente de las comunidades asumió un papel protagónico y comenzaron a patrullar las calles para evitar conflictos.

Esos son los puntos que yo puedo comentar sobre el ataque de los que tengo certeza y testimonios.

“We were about to leave for Caracas, but my sister told us that it was already late and to stay to leave the next day, so we continued on vacation that day, we went to the pool with the kids, played dominoes and then had dinner and went to bed, to leave early for Caracas.

Attack on La Guaira:

This testimony was given to me by a neighbor who is a staunch opponent of the government:

“We came from Chuspa, we went through the whole of La Guaira, but I found that many of the things the networks said were lies; among them they said that the Gipuzkoan House was destroyed, but we passed by the front and the house was still standing, with some scorched spots, but the house looked complete.

What we could see was some impacts in the port, but it was not a total destruction as the networks said.

With us was a naval air pilot, who was with his girlfriend on vacation, and he was called to report to the base, on the morning of the 3rd after the attacks.”

I contacted a friend who lives near the University Hospital, and she told me: "A lot of cars with dead and injured people are entering the hospital, but the cars don't use sirens or lights.”
I contacted friends in Carabobo State; they told me that absolutely nothing had happened there, but that many people from the communities took a leading role and began patrolling the streets to avoid conflicts.

Those are the points that I can comment on the attack of which I have certainty and testimonies.

Lo que pensaba la gente que apoya al gobierno ayer y comentaban por las redes:

Ayer en la madrugada, varias personas que apoyan al gobierno me decían que en un principio esto era un golpe de Estado.
Cuando se vio y quedó claro que era un ataque estadounidense y que los militares venezolanos no defendieron al país, empezaron a circular rumores de que Maduro había sido traicionado.
Cuando Maduro aparece apresado en las redes sociales, la posición de muchísimas personas que apoyan al gobierno es que hubo un acuerdo entre algunas de las élites del gobierno y los estadounidenses y ellos decidieron entregar a Maduro.

Como sea, todas lesas hipótesis podrían tener cierto grado de verdad o de mentira, pero lo claro es que hasta ahora todo es una simple especulación de las personas y no una información con base real, y ecepto por los protagonistas, dificulto que alguien más sepa cuál es la verdad de lo que sucedió.

Según la alocución del ministro de la defensa, mañana 5 de enero, se reunirá la Asamblea Nacional. En esa reunión se podrán definir varias situaciones y aclarar varias especulaciones, que tiene la poblacion del país.

Hoy decía un venezolano que apoya al gobierno en una entrevista en Telesur: “Mañana veremos quiénes son los traidores”.

¿A qué se refiere con esto? El artículo 234 de la Constitución de la República de Venezuela dice: “Las faltas temporales del Presidente o Presidenta de la República serán suplidas por el Vicepresidente Ejecutivo o Vicepresidenta Ejecutiva hasta por noventa días, prorrogables por decisión de la Asamblea Nacional hasta por noventa días más. Si una falta temporal se prolonga por más de noventa días consecutivos, la Asamblea Nacional decidirá por mayoría de sus integrantes si debe considerarse que hay falta absoluta.”

Y el artículo 239 dice: “Son atribuciones del Vicepresidente Ejecutivo o Vicepresidenta Ejecutiva: 1. Colaborar con el Presidente o Presidenta de la República en la dirección de la acción del Gobierno. 2. Coordinar la Administración Pública Nacional de conformidad con las instrucciones del Presidente o Presidenta de la República. 3. Proponer al Presidente o Presidenta de la República el nombramiento y la remoción de los Ministros o Ministras. 4. Presidir, previa autorización del Presidente o Presidenta de la República, el Consejo de Ministros. 5. Coordinar las relaciones del Ejecutivo Nacional con la Asamblea Nacional. 6. Presidir el Consejo Federal de Gobierno. 7. Nombrar y remover, de conformidad con la ley, los funcionarios o funcionarias nacionales cuya designación no esté atribuida a otra autoridad. 8. Suplir las faltas temporales del Presidente o Presidenta de la República. 9. Ejercer las atribuciones que le delegue el Presidente o Presidenta de la República. 10. Las demás que le señalen esta Constitución y la ley.”

Estos artículos ya se cumplieron, debido a que el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia nombró a la vicepresidenta ejecutiva, presidenta encargada de la nación, para que el gobierno pueda tener continuidad, que es algo normal en una crisis nacional.

Hay una hipótesis, que dice que mañana mismo, sin esperar los 90 días que da el artículo 234, la vicepresidenta llamará a elecciones generales; de ser así, quedaría claro que las hipótesis o especulaciones nombradas arriba serían reales.
Segunda hipótesis: que, debido al secuestro del presidente Maduro, se decida que la vicepresidenta termine su mandato, dando continuidad al gobierno y manteniendo el proyecto nacionalista que impulso el presidente Chávez. Yo, pienso que esto es lo que pasará.
Hipótesis: que un sector intente romper la continuidad del gobierno, mientras que otro intente imponer un cambio de régimen apoyado por los Estados Unidos, lo que provocaría un rompimiento y el enfrentamiento entre las tendencias del gobierno, rompiéndose el orden constitucional.

Esas son las tres hipótesis o situaciones que ruedan en las redes y en los comentarios de diferentes grupos. Pero solamente son especulaciones, solo la reunión de la Asamblea Nacional mañana dará respuesta a las mismas.

These articles have already been fulfilled, because the Supreme Court of Justice appointed the executive vice president, president in charge of the nation, so that the government can have continuity, which is something normal in a national crisis.

There is a hypothesis, which says that tomorrow, without waiting for the 90 days that article 234 gives, the vice president will call general elections; if so, it would be clear that the hypotheses or speculations named above would be real.
The second hypothesis is that, due to the kidnapping of President Maduro, it is decided that the vice president ends her term, giving continuity to the government and maintaining the nationalist project promoted by President Chávez. Me, I think this is what will happen.
Hypothesis: that one sector tries to break the continuity of the government, while another tries to impose a regime change supported by the United States, which would cause a rupture and confrontation between the tendencies of the government, breaking the constitutional order.

Those are the three hypotheses or situations that are circulating on the networks and in the comments of different groups. But these are only speculations, only the meeting of the National Assembly tomorrow will give an answer to them.

Lo que yo veo en la actualidad

What I see at present

Yo realmente, como comenté arriba, no tengo certeza de lo qué pasará o lo que podría dejar de pasar en el gobierno.

Pienso que los políticos en este momento deben ir con mucho cuidado con lo que hacen, ya que ellos pueden definir un camino; pero habría que ver si las bases del chavismo, las mismas que rescataron a Chávez del Golpe de Estado y que creen en su proyecto fielmente, que son millones de personas, lo van a aceptar.
A diferencia de otras situaciones donde han estado involucrados los estadounidenses, en Venezuela hay una parte muy importante del pueblo que cree y apoya el proyecto del presidente Chávez, que tiene una base ideológica firme, que está organizada y que está armada, y que tal vez solo está esperando ver los acontecimientos para tomar acciones coordinadas en defensa del proyecto.
No creo bajo ningún motivo que los militares venezolanos y buena parte de la población, vayan a aceptar a una cipaya vende patria como María Corina Machado, o alguien cercana a su ideología como presidente de república. Una mujer que no solo apoya y pide una invasión extranjera a su país, sino que además dice en una entrevista con el hijo de Trump que cuando llegue al poder todos los recursos y minerales venezolanos serán privatizados a capital estadounidense.
Habrá que ver las posiciones de los líderes del chavismo, de los líderes de base y las comunidades organizadas.
Hay una oposición política bastante grande, que no apoya la intervención extranjera, que está en contra de la postura de la oposición fascista y que muy posiblemente, ante una situación crítica como esta que estamos viviendo, se una al gobierno para dar una respuesta conjunta al imperialismo gringo y los traidores de la patria.

Lo que sí está claro es que hubo un primer ataque, que en este ataque hubo muchas situaciones extrañas, que hay muchas preguntas sin respuestas, que la defensa militar del país, que su escudo de defensa aérea y que la defensa militar de la patria quedó en entredicho en este primer ataque contra la nación. Por eso, todo lo que nos espera, todo lo que pueda pasar o cambiar, se verá a partir del día de mañana y de los acontecimientos y consecuencias que comenzaron a generarse a nivel nacional a partir del día que los EEUU, atacó el territorio nacional y secuestro al presidente Maduro.

I think that politicians at this moment should be very careful with what they do, since they can define a path; but it would have to be seen if the bases of Chavismo, the same ones that rescued Chávez from the coup d'état and who believe in his project faithfully, which are millions of people, are going to accept it.

En lo personal, me molesta mucho la acción militar del gobierno estadounidense en contra de mi país. Me molesta muchísimo que haya venezolanos que la aprueben un ataque militar a nuestro país y, de hecho a esas personas, los considero traidores a la patria e indignos de llamarse venezolanos. Creo que, al igual que todos los venezolanos, que tienen un mínimo de gentilicio y de amor patrio, hay una rabia y un asco tremendo ante las declaraciones dadas por Donald Trump, y de cómo habla del futuro de Venezuela, bajo la supervisión extranjera, como si los venezolanos no fuésemos los dueños de nuestro país y de nuestro destino. Finalmente, pienso que, independientemente de la posición política que tenga cada quien, creo que el país, la dignidad, el gentilicio y el hecho de ser venezolano deberían unirnos a todos ante el ataque extranjero de una potencia imperialista que ha destruido países en todos los continentes solo para robar sus recursos.
