Dessert time is undoubtedly the moment my son looks forward to most. I made a quick cake using a blender – though you can also use a hand mixer – and it’s a light, moist cake that’s perfect for soaking in your favourite syrup.

This is a great option for a quick and tasty cake. INGREDIENTS - 1/2 cup white sugar - 2 eggs - 1 cup milk - 25g, or 1/4 cup, cocoa powder - 1 tablespoon vanilla - 2 cups self-raising flour - 1/4 cup raisins - Syrup - Chocolate ganache for decoration. PROCEDURE

- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you have a thick mixture.

- Pour the mixture into a tin that has been greased with butter and dusted with flour.

- Bake for 30 minutes or until fully cooked; I didn’t use the oven, I made the cake on the hob over a low heat.

- Drizzle the cake with syrup, then add your choice of topping. SYRUP: - 500 ml water, 2 cups - 250 ml sugar, 1 cup - 1 tablespoon vanilla Combine the water and sugar, place on the hob over a medium heat until it comes to the boil, add the vanilla, boil for exactly 6 minutes and turn off the heat.

Torta de Chocolate

La hora del postre es indudablemente el momento más esperado por mi hijo, hice una torta rápida con la ayuda de la licuadora, se puede hacer con batidora manual también, es una torta suave especial para humadecerla con el almíbar que más te guste.

Esta es una opción para hacer una torta rápida y sabrosa. INGREDIENTES - 1/2 taza de azúcar blanca - 2 huevos - 1 taza de leche - 25 gramos, o 1/4 taza de cacao en polvo - 1 cucharada de vainilla - 2 tazas de harina de trigo leudante - 1/4 taza de pasas - Almíbar - Ganache de chocolate para decorar PROCEDIMIENTO

- En la licuadora colocamos todos los ingredientes, procesamos hasta que veamos una mezcla espesa.

- Vaciar la mezcla en un molde que previamente fue untado con manteca y espolvoreado con harina.

- Hornear por 30 minutos o hasta que esté totalmente cocida, yo no utilicé el horno, la torta la hice sobre la estufa a fuego mínimo.

- Mojamos con almíbar la torta, luego le colocamos el topping de tu preferencia. ALMÍBAR: - 500 ml de agua, 2 tazas - 250 ml de azúcar, 1 taza - 1 cucharada de vainilla Unir el agua y el azúcar, colocar en la estufa a fuego medio hasta hervir, añadir la vainilla, dejar hervir por 6 minutos exactos y apagar
