Happy Easter!
I managed to get my hands on Krispy Kreme's Easter Donuts this weekend and I wanted to see if they were better than expected. The Easter Menu seemed a bit 'samy' . Nevertheless, I haven't passed on a special donut yet.

I really liked the bright yellow icing on this donut and the chocolate frosting swirl in the middle with the little chocolate eggs. It did have a nice Easter look to it. The icing didn't have any flavour in it. I would have suggested a lemon icing in my opinion. The chocolate frosting was to die for. I wish there was more. The chocolate eggs on top had a nice shell and the chocolate was really good too. It didn't taste like 'cheap' chocolate, if you excuse the pun!
Much better than expected. When I first saw this, I thought it was just a bog standard OG jumped up for Easter. I was wrong. Yes, this had the base of an OG, but everything else elevated it. Although the icing didn't have any flavour, it was still a nice Easter treat. Lovely!!!
