After we finally made our steps in 2022 and celebrated more or less having the earth do another full rotation around the sun, I think we can all agree that it's time to get back to our daily routines and especially to work, huh!
While there are people who are still enjoying their free time having an extended vacation, it looks like the new job I had to take in House Flipper had no mercy, coming with a lot of cleaning and renovations needed to be made into a garage.
There was a pretty short email coming from Mr Max, but where you could find lots of emojis and funny parts into the text message which did bring a smile on my face... until I've seen what's everything about, lol.
Long story short, I think we can all agree that garages are probably the places where you can find literally anything because every object you don't find a place for in the house, goes there, without having too much order into the cold place.
It's funny that Mr Max, needed to buy a car in order to realize how much trash there is in his garage, but hey, that's why I'm here for! (fake excitement) 🤣

While the map became almost entirely covered in dust, with not too many spaces left clean or empty, I think I can easily say that this was the job where I was needed to make the most cleaning and renovation, so I sort of didn't even know where I should start from, lol.
But since it would be easier to see the stains and dirt from the ground and walls, as well as reach the windows to clean them, I thought it would be better to first collect all the trash and get rid of those before making the first move.

Hmmm, I think now we can finally see what the walls and ground look like, right? 😃
I know it's still lots of work to be done and that this is a small step forward, but hey, better small steps and consistent than big ones without having too many nice results!

After cleaning the ground and the windows, I also cleaned the car for that extra pay Mr Max mentioned in his email, and for that, I decided to move the car to the right as that's what I understood from his email saying that there is no space for parking the vehicle due to the many boxes and trash on the ground that was mostly on the right side.
Anyway, as soon as I did that, I think we can see the difference between the before and after images and that we managed to have a less dark and messy garage, but since there were lots of empty shelves on both the left and right side, I thought about adding more tools and things you usually see in a place like this, but more nicely arranged than before.

Along with the tools, I also purchased two more posters as the one already existing seemed like will fall very soon, and just because I know how it is to live in a small flat with two bicycles that are moved from a place to another, I purchased these and added to the garage where Mr Max can have fun with when he feels the need of doing some sport.

Anyway, what I really liked about this job, is the way the house was created having a separate space for working than the garage where I'm used to seeing a table dedicated to crafting or different activities, but where I got to see the same landscape I was welcomed in the garage as well.
BEFORE cleaning
The good part is that this room was just half the size of the garage and that there were already lots of things on the shelves so I was going to spend less time purchasing them, but the bad part is that there was still a lot of trash on the ground and things that needed to be rearranged.
Just like in the previous situation, I began by removing the empty boxes from the ground, clean the stains and the windows, and then rearrange everything on the shelves so there is more space in the room.

I am a huge fan of this kind of storage boxes that are saving the situation no matter if it's a garage, a kitchen, a bathroom or a wardrobe, there are always various things that are gathering together in a few years which are occupying a lot of space on the shelves if they are not placed in a box.

I also thought about purchasing a new poster for the walls, a TV, TV furniture and two fluffy seats where Mr Max can rest or get to drink a beer with his friend/wife when they are getting into his working place.
Most likely there won't be too much time for watching TV but hey, we all are doing better work while listening to music, and that's exactly the idea behind all things purchased! 😀
Job done!
A more time and energy consuming one, but at least I came with fresh strengths after the last few weeks where the jobs were a lot easier and short. And I think it's also the first time when I had to deal with a garage like this, so cheers for new activities explored in House Flipper! 😃
