Hello! What's everyone up to on the 2nd day of the new week? I hope everyone is staying safe and hanging in there until we won't be afraid of tomorrow anymore! š
As for me, perhaps you already know that I dedicate every Tuesday to a new job taken in House Flipper that never stops surprising me with the diversity amongst the tasks you can complete and how you can always bring a completely new face to the peoples' houses without running out of options to pick from.
And even though the title of today's job is quite similar to the one from the previous week entitled Clean up the house, please, this time the story behind it is a little bit more touching and you'll have way more space where to set free your creative mind. š
Anyway, to find out better what exactly the job's requirements are, above you will find a picture to my laptop where the email was received.
So my client is actually a lady this time whose name is Ann Denis and for I don't know what reasons her husband left her taking their kid with him. For this cause and the thing that the house needed some massive cleaning and renovations, I have to set up everything and bring a new looking to it before Ms Ann decides whether she wants to keep the house for herself or sell it further.
So I'd suggest to start! š
BEFORE renovation
While looking on the mini-map from the top right corner is very discouraging, I decided that it's better to start cleaning and renovating from the first door opened that got me in the main corridor of the house rather than having a tour and see what the job really involves, lol.
I remember seeing in the email received that Ms Ann said something of painting the walls with a bright orange colour but before being able to do it, I had to first clean up the floor and remove the trash that was almost everywhere. š©

And... Ta-daaa!
This is how everything turned out!
I know that none of the plant and poster were part of the task list but I thought it's a good idea of adding something in plus to make this less boring and more welcoming to anyone who will enter the house. What do you think about it? Does it help even for just a little? š
BEFORE renovation
As the corridor proved us one more time that there are quite a few rooms to take care of judging by the number of doors you see everywhere, I decided to start my journey on this job from the first door on the left that got me into a pretty small room.
Since the woman said something about having a kid that no longer lives with her, I'll assume this is the room that used to be for the kid so the space available is not too generous, but there was still needed some cleaning and renovation before starting to bring it a new looking.

AFTER renovation
Along with the requirements already mentioned, I was requested to paint the walls with a bright orange colour in this case too, but to also repair two light bulbs because the light wasn't working, and to mount a radiator which was completely missing in the room.
As soon as I did that, everything seemed pretty empty without having anything else in the room other than the chair that could also be seen in the "before" picture, so I decided to leave my touch here by buying a bed, a lamp, a poster, but also a box with red roses to bring a smile on Ms Ann when she checks out how this part of the house turned out. š
BEFORE renovation
The next door opened got me in a way bigger room that represents the office so I had no intentions in giving this a different purpose.
However, in order to make this still be used by Ms Ann, I had to do the cleaning part first and then repaint the walls in order to stay away from the current looking which was pretty scary.

AFTER renovation
Even though this might look a lot different than what it used to be before the cleaning, most of the items from the room stayed but they were simply arranged in a different way, such as having the desk and chair on the right part of the room and place the sofa instead. The wardrobe remained in the same place.
Anyway, I still spent some bucks to buy a proper computer that turned out to be suitable for both working and gaming (you never know what the passions of a girl are š), as well as adding some flowers, a poster, and more decorative items that make the whole atmosphere more cosy and relaxing.
BEFORE renovation
As I moved further, the 3rd door opened got me to the bathroom of the house which shouldn't be ever neglected.
Even so, the things I found here were still part of the same landscape seen so far, unfortunately, so I waited no more and cleaned the floor, walls and window in order to see better what should remain and what not. š¤
AFTER renovation
The task list helped me notice faster that I should get rid of the toilet and buy a new one instead, along with a washer that was completely missing.
I also had to add some new floor and wall tiles that matched my colour tastes, so I kept the whole interior design on the same line with shades of green and blue for the accessories, towels and personal care products. This is, perhaps, the room that I love the most how it turned out from the whole house! š
BEFORE renovation
The following room is the biggest one from the house which represents the living, and happily, none of the items were damaged here so with some luck after cleaning the surface and removing the trash I could still use these further.

Anyway, along with the electrical outlet that was not working and I had to repair, as well as adding a radiator that was also missing on this part of the house, I decided to keep the same minimalistic looking the room had.
But as I don't like not leaving my personal touch, I did purchase some flowers and a poster to make the room more welcoming, as well as adding a generous box of chocolate candies on one of the furniture pieces that I'm sure everyone will enjoy. š
BEFORE renovation
And last but not least, the 5th door you could notice from the main corridor led me to the kitchen where I had to meet again my cockroach friends, yay...! š
As I'd anticipate, over here was the biggest mess and trash on the ground, but at least the space was bigger than some of the other rooms so I was able to handle this faster and better than expected. I also had to paint the walls with a different colour in this case too, which remains a big question for me how those walls turned like that in the whole house, but oh well, we'll never find out, right? š

AFTER renovation
As perhaps you would look for, over here I've spent the most time out of all the 6 rooms renovated due to the thing that I like paying attention to details and never miss buying something which could be useful and you are able to find in (almost) any kitchen out there.
I also consider that both the kitchen and the bathroom are the rooms that should always be clean and arranged without feeling like something is missing so that's another point of view which weighed quite a lot on my efforts done here. š
Job done!
A less demanding job than I expected but which I renovated with a big smile on my face because even though it required lots of cleaning and trash removal, this kind of houses offer you the most opportunities to set free your creativity and that's why I keep playing House Flipper, right? š
Anyway, I'm really curious to find out what's the room you liked the most how it turned out after the cleaning and renovation I made, as well as if there is something you would add/remove there, so don't forget to leave your comment down below because I can't wait to find out! š¤
