Eid Mubarak!!
Yesterday I got myself some of Krispy Kreme's Eid Celebration Donuts. This was the first one I had and it was the one I was looking forward to the most.

I loved the brightness of this donut. It really stood out in the cabinet. The gold stars and sprinkles made this donut lick very celebratory. It did take eating about half a donut to get to the centre. It was a very pale kreme with a hint of pistachio flavour. Although I could taste the pistachio, I got more taste from the icing that did over power the delicate nuttiness. I did expect the filling to be a pistachio green colour and a lot more flavour too. Kinda like a pistachio paste.
This donut was certainly bright but it didn't deliver the delight it promised. I thought I'd definitely would want another one after seeing it advertised, but after having one, it was a different story. Really needed a pistachio green filling and a heck of a lot more of pistachio taste. I was left disappointed.
