" We walked for about 45minutes from our hotel, to the top of this hill where a 360-view of Athens could be seen. There were already a couple of tourists chilling and waiting for the best part of the day, some even laid out a picnic mat that made me envious. I got a book but never flipped a single page, because I got lost at the bewildering panorama before my eyes."

" The old houses are falling down or being demolished, it is a pity, because they could be preserved as architectural heritage... But we are a people of people worried about tomorrow's food, we don't seem to have time for those things!.... Or at least, that's what the governments of this century have brought us to.... The façade and the rusty sign of the old restaurant speak for themselves of what it is like to be a "town frozen in time"... Or rather "village of better times"..."

" Let's visit the inside of the mill, which has been under water for many years. After I stepped through the door, I encountered a pile of mud, but I entered the mill and started to visit the inside. These places I shared the pictures of are not my grandfather's mill. I had been here many times when I was little. The uncle with gray hair from flour dust didn't greet me this time and didn't give me any candy."
